Starting in 1974, Meridian’s mission was to eliminate addiction by working with individuals and their families through recognition, prevention, consultation, healthcare, communication, support, and treatment, utilizing a person-centered approach that respects the dignity of every individual. For nearly 50 years since, we’ve continued to expand services in order to deliver a full continuum of care for the Mahoning Valley and beyond. We understand the importance of early intervention and support – that’s why we work to deliver whole-person care that improves lives and strengthens communities.
Your donation stays right here, in the cities and towns we live in, and is used to support programming, community education, awareness and overall operations. It also helps us offer prevention programs to our schools, groups and our community.

Season of Giving
This holiday season, we’re collecting donations for our residents to help them experience the joy they deserve while working through a challenging time in their lives. Our goal is to collect enough items for 200 men and women to receive a bag full of gifts that will help make their stay more comfortable.
Donations will be collected until December 13th, and can be dropped off at 550 W. Chalmers Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44511 on weekdays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
