Meridian HealthCare is proud to host the Third Annual Judge Joseph Donofrio Memorial Golf Outing on September 14th, 2026 at Tippecanoe Country Club. Join us as we celebrate the enduring legacy of Judge Donofrio and raise vital funds to support Meridian’s long-term recovery services. All proceeds from this outing will make long-term recovery and improved wellness possible for the 10,000+ patients we serve each year. About Judge Donofrio:

Judge Joseph Donofrio played an integral role in the long-term alcohol recovery services provided at Meridian today. In 1966, he created a program for individuals facing legal consequences due to repeated alcohol-related incidents. This program allowed individuals struggling with alcoholism to enter Alcoholics Anonymous in place of jail time. Through this program, the Donofrio Home Halfway House was established and became part of Meridian HealthCare in 2005.
