What is the history of Shenango PA?
Shenango Township was incorporated in 1796 as a township in northern Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Shenango was named after a river in Western Pennsylvania, the Shenango River. In 1849, when Lawrence County was formed, Shenango Township became one of Lawrence County’s original townships.
