Gambling addiction, also known as compulsive gambling, is a behavioral health disorder characterized by an uncontrollable urge to continue gambling despite harmful consequences.
It can severely impact your personal, financial, and social life, leading to mounting debt, strained relationships, and emotional distress. You don’t have to face this alone — we’re here to support you every step of the way.
We have a wide variety of treatment options and support services at various levels of care, including Outpatient Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Withdrawal Management (DETOX), Medication-Assisted Treatment, Co-Occurring Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Counseling, and Residential Treatment. Free consultations are offered for each service.
Our Withdrawal Management Program is a 16-bed detoxification treatment center that allows you to detox from drugs or alcohol under the care of medical and mental health professionals. You receive 24-hour medical care and peer support, and stays usually last 3 to 7 days.
Our comprehensive Outpatient Treatment Program assists you in achieving desired life changes by providing education about the addiction process while promoting abstinence and the development of a sober recovery support system. Substance abuse education occurs in group and individual settings and also includes random drug screens.
Our counselors and mental health professionals provide patient-centered, individual counseling, and come up with a treatment plan specific to the problems you are facing. Our treatment providers are trained in evidence-based therapy to treat the whole person to lessen dependency and improve mental health conditions.
Our addiction recovery support doesn’t stop at residential and outpatient treatment. We offer additional services like primary care, acupuncture, chiropractic treatment, and even adolescent counseling to make sure you and your loved ones are fully taken care of.
Our primary care team helps you along your journey to improve your overall health as you recover from addiction. Additionally, chiropractic care and acupuncture provide an option for drug-free pain management and can even help reduce cravings, acting as another layer of relapse prevention.
This structured, inpatient program is for men and women seeking intensive treatment and support. With separate, specialized programs for alcohol addiction and substance abuse, we ensure you receive personalized care. A typical day includes group therapy, individual counseling, educational sessions, 12-step meetings, and opportunities for reflection, recreation, wellness, and fellowship. Program lengths range from 30 to 45 days, providing comprehensive care for lasting recovery.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based treatment for addiction to opioids like heroin, morphine, or prescription medications. Random urine drug screens are required along with intensive counseling sessions and other recovery activities.
Our Maternal Opiate Medical Support (M.O.M.S.) program is designed to support pregnant women and new mothers struggling with opiate and stimulant use. Our experienced care team is committed to understanding your unique needs. We provide compassionate support throughout pregnancy and beyond, helping you navigate the recovery process and build a healthy future for you and your family members.
Our Integrated Healthcare services address both physical and mental health needs in one comprehensive approach. Our team of medical professionals and behavioral health specialists work together to deliver personalized care. We offer a full range of services designed to promote overall wellness, including primary care, mental health counseling, addiction treatment, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. By addressing both your physical and behavioral health issues together, we ensure that every aspect of your health is managed under one roof, leading to more effective and holistic outcomes.
The time between your assessment and admission varies based on the program and availability. For those in crisis, treatment may begin immediately. For outpatient program individuals, we strive to begin treatment within one week following the assessment.
Meridian HealthCare accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and self-pay (which is based on a sliding fee scale). We also offer assistance in obtaining Medicaid. There is a limited amount of funds available for residents without a payer source, based on your location and program assignment. The goal is to help you obtain the most appropriate, comprehensive care in the most cost-effective manner. If you have questions about affording treatment services, please contact our assessment department at 330-797-0070.
You will have to provide a drug screen if you are seeking treatment for substance use concerns. Our lab staff provides a comfortable environment for the screen that will help put your concerns/discomfort at ease.
No referral is required to begin your journey with our dedicated and experienced addiction services team. Just reach out to our Meridian Road or Warren office locations, or feel free to walk in during office hours. We’re here to help whenever you’re ready.
